EC 2.3.1.8 Acetyl-CoA: orthophosphate acteyltransferase; Phosphate acetyltransferase. Recombinant from B. subtilis. In 3.2 M ammonium sulphate. This enzyme is commonly used, in conjunction with acetate kinase, for the measurement of acetic acid. Specific activity: 18,325 U/mg (25oC, pH 7.4). Stable at 4oC for > 2 years.
